About

The annual Symposium is the heart and soul of INORE. The Symposium is an international event for early stage researchers to present their research, grow their network, visit world-famous offshore energy sites, get introduced to our industry partners, and learn through each other’s experiences. This event helps the launch of future sustainable collaborative research between the different participants. The Symposium is not only an academic arena. In order to facilitate networking and learning, the symposium also includes social activities, inspiring sessions with keynote speakers industry leaders, leading researchers, and government representatives, and site visits to world renounced offshore energy destinations.

The symposium is free to attend for all participants (excluding transportation to the event), thanks to our many generous sponsors. Learn more about this year’s symposia below.

2026 North American Symposium

We’re thrilled to announce the location and dates for our 2026 INORE North American Symposium! This July 27th through August 1st, INOREans will congregate in Hoboken, New Jersey to share knowledge, network with industry and academic partners, and stay on the cutting edge of offshore energy technology.
